Beautiful Pink Flowers in a Green Garden – saygreens Plantation

Miyawaki Forest

At SayGreens, we are committed to restoring our planet’s greenery through innovative and sustainable practices. One such remarkable method is the Miyawaki Forest technique, which brings rapid reforestation to urban spaces, benefiting both the environment and local communities.

Butterfly Garden

At SayGreens, we create Butterfly Gardens—natural spaces filled with native plants that attract and support butterflies and other pollinators. These gardens enhance urban biodiversity, create learning spaces for communities, and bring nature closer to
everyday life.

Vermi Compost

At SayGreens, our vermicomposting initiatives turn everyday organic waste into rich, living compost using earthworms. This supports effective waste management and promotes organic farming by improving soil naturally—without chemicals.

How we Work

1. Site Assessment & Planning

2. Native Species Selection

3. Soil Preparation

4. Dense Plantation

5. Mulching & Watering

6. Maintenance & Monitoring

7. Community Involvement

We begin by surveying the land — checking soil quality, sunlight, water availability, and topography. This helps us decide the best method (Miyawaki or otherwise) for forest creation.

We select a diverse mix of 25–50 native plant species that naturally grow in the region. Native species adapt better, support biodiversity, and grow faster without chemical support.

The soil is enriched using organic compost, cocopeat, rice husk, and natural additives to enhance moisture retention and promote microbial activity — giving young plants the best start.

Using the Miyawaki technique, we plant 3–5 saplings per square meter, creating natural forest layers:

  • Canopy trees (tallest)

  • Sub-canopy trees (medium)

  • Shrubs (bushes)

  • Ground cover (herbs, climbers)

We apply mulch (dry leaves, straw) to retain moisture and reduce weed growth. In the first 1–2 years, watering is essential — either by hand or using drip irrigation.

We actively maintain every forest until it’s self-sustaining. This includes replacing dead plants, checking soil health, monitoring growth, and protecting from pests or drought.

We engage schools, companies, volunteers, and locals to help plant and care for the forest. This builds connection, responsibility, and long-term sustainability.

Miyawaki Forests

Bringing Life Back to the Land, One Green Patch at a Time

SayGreens is dedicated to reviving degraded land using the Miyawaki forest technique, where dense clusters of native trees are planted to create rapid, healthy growth and vibrant biodiversity. Our commitment goes beyond planting — we regularly monitor each forest, replace damaged saplings, and ensure the right conditions for trees to thrive.
With continuous care and community involvement, every site we create transforms into a self-sustaining green ecosystem that benefits both nature and people.

In Every Seed, We See a Future

And in every forest we grow, we see the return of balance, beauty, and breath to our planet. At SayGreens, we nurture each plant with purpose — restoring life, reviving land, and reimagining a greener tomorrow
